Jeff Perry

Jeff Perry, born in Highland Park, is an American actor of stage, screen and television who helped start the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago with Gary Sinise and Terry Kinney while they were still in high school, and he remains one of its executive artistic directors. He headed to Los Angeles in 1987 after about twenty years with the company to take on film and television roles. He is known for Inspector Harvey Leek on the CBS drama Nash Bridges and for Richard Katimski on My So-Called Life, Thatcher Grey on Grey's Anatomy, Terrance Steadman on Prison Break, and Cyrus Beene on Scandal from 2012 to 2018. His films include the thriller Wild Things (1998), where he played the tough boss of Kevin Bacon's detective. On Broadway he appeared in Death of a Salesman in 2022 as Uncle Ben, and he starred as editor Stanley Kornik in Alaska Daily.
