Jaimz Woolvett

Jaimz Woolvett is an actor who trained in drama during university and received an invitation to the National Theatre School. His earliest break came through the lead part in the sitcom Dog House, a role that brought a Young Artists Award nomination. A larger opportunity arrived when he played The Schofield Kid alongside Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman in Unforgiven (1992). After that production ended, he moved to Hollywood, though steady work proved difficult before the movie reached cinemas. He next went to New Zealand for a lead in the television series White Fang, which meant he was out of the country when calls connected to Unforgiven began to arrive. Once back, he appeared in Rosewood (1997), directed by John Singleton, and in The Guilty (2000). His supporting work in Hard Time earned a Gemini nomination. He has directed and volunteered at schools in the Los Angeles area, and he has encouraged writers and performers through Open Mike Write events.
