Iain Quarrier
Biography
Iain Quarrier was a Canadian actor who appeared in only a handful of films during the mid to late 1960s. Born in Montreal, he got his start in two movies directed by Roman Polanski, Cul-De-Sac (1966) and The Fearless Vampire Killers (1967). In 1968, working with Jean-Luc Godard, he both acted in and produced One Plus One, listed on this site as Sympathy for the Devil (1968). Godard was unhappy with the finished production and spoke against it at the film's London Film Festival premiere. Quarrier also worked as a creative associate on Vanishing Point. His last screen role came in Wonderwall (1969), and he retired from the film business afterward. He died in 2016.
