Grant Page
Biography
Grant Page was an Australian stunt performer and coordinator who worked mainly in the 1970s and 1980s. Born in Adelaide in 1939, he became known for coordinating stunts on Australian action films. He was the stunt coordinator for The Man from Hong Kong (1975). He also worked on Mad Max (1979) and the cult horror film Death Ship (1980). In Roadgames (1981), he played the killer. He starred in the 1978 film Stunt Rock alongside the band Sorcery, and he starred in the Australian TV series Danger Freaks, which showcased his stunt collaborations. He was known for an attempt to jump over a moving car on a live broadcast of The Don Lane Show in 1976, a stunt he successfully completed on the same program in 1983. He also made a cameo in the Blur music video M.O.R. Grant Page died in 2024.
