Ellen McElduff

Ellen McElduff is a Canadian actress born in 1964 who works in film, television and theater. She is an accomplished stage performer, and The New York Times praised her work in JoAnne Akalaitis's Help Wanted, Dead End Kids and Dressed Like an Egg. She earned an Obie Award citation for Southern Exposure, and her stage credits also take in Samuel Beckett's Cascando, Cold Harbor and Him, the 1995 play written by and starring Christopher Walken. On screen she is known as Jean Hill in Oliver Stone's JFK (1991), Eleanor O'Connor in Oz and Billie Lou Hatfield, a role she played in Homicide: Life on the Street and later in Homicide: The Movie and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Her films include Maximum Overdrive (1986), Working Girls (1987), Desperate Hours (1990), Julian Po (1997), Chinese Coffee (2000) and Jodie Foster's Little Man Tate (1991).
