David Steinberg
Biography
David Steinberg was an American actor who was born in Los Angeles in 1965, raised in Queens, New York, and died in 2010. He started performing on stage as a student at Messiah College in Pennsylvania, then moved into professional theater after graduating. His stage work included appearances with the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis and Center Stage in Baltimore, as well as the New York Shakespeare Festival, and he took part in a Grammy-nominated national tour of The Wizard of Oz as a Munchkin. He was best known for playing Meegosh in Ron Howard's Willow (1988), and his other films included Love & Sex (2000) and The Hebrew Hammer. On television, he guest starred in a 2007 episode of Ugly Betty called Giving Up the Ghost and appeared on shows such as Zoey 101, Charmed, and The Equalizer.
