Charlotte Le Bon
Biography
Charlotte Le Bon is a Canadian actress and director who lives in Paris. Born in Montreal, she studied visual arts and modeled before settling in Paris in 2010. She gained notice on the Canal+ talk show Le Grand Journal, writing and performing comedic weather reports, then left to pursue film acting. Her first film role was in 2012. She appeared in Mood Indigo (2013) and earned a César Award nomination for playing Yves Saint Laurent's muse in the 2014 film Yves Saint Laurent. She then starred in The Hundred-Foot Journey (2014) and The Walk (2015). In 2016 she appeared in The Promise, Anthropoid, Bastille Day, and Arctic Heart. She made her directorial debut with the short Judith Hotel in 2018, and her feature Falcon Lake premiered at Cannes in 2022, winning an award at the Vancouver International Film Festival. She has also worked as an illustrator.
