Bob Einstein
Biography
Bob Einstein was an American comic performer who wrote and produced for television and created the satirical stuntman Super Dave Osborne. He was born in Los Angeles in 1942. His first success came as a writer on The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, which earned him an Emmy Award, and a second Emmy came his way for Van Dyke and Company. He also appeared on the former show as Officer Judy. The Super Dave character originated on The John Byner Comedy Hour, later became a regular part of Bizarre, and was featured in his own variety show Super Dave, broadcast from 1987 to 1991. Playing that role brought him a CableACE Award. In later years he played Marty Funkhouser on Curb Your Enthusiasm, Larry Middleman on Arrested Development, and Bobby Caldwell in Ocean's Thirteen (2007). He also starred in The Extreme Adventures of Super Dave (2000).
