That series ran from 1993 to 1998 and earned 23 Emmy nominations, winning 19, including an Outstanding Performer in Children's Programming award for Nye. He went on to lead The Planetary Society and wrote science books, including Undeniable (2014). He appeared in the documentary Bill Nye: Science Guy (2017) and voiced himself in Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo! (2020). His later shows include Bill Nye Saves the World and The End Is Nye.
