Audrey Dalton
Biography
Audrey Dalton is a retired Irish-born American actress who worked mainly in the United States during the Golden Age of Hollywood. Born in Dublin to soldier and film producer Emmet Dalton, she attended the Convent of the Sacred Heart there and later trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art after relocating to London with her family. She arrived in the United States in March 1952 to take a role in The Girls of Pleasure Island. Her acting was interrupted in 1953, and when she returned in 1954 she began working without a British accent. On television, Dalton appeared in six Wagon Train episodes between 1958 and 1964, played Ellen Curry in a 1958 episode of The Millionaire, guest-starred on Perry Mason in 1961 as Kate Eastman, and appeared on Gunsmoke in 1962 in The Renegades.
