Ari Millen
Biography
Ari Millen is a Canadian actor who grew up in Kingston, Ontario and turned to performing arts as a teenager, after a part in a small play steered him away from a planned hockey career. He trained at the Theatre School of Ryerson University, finishing a fine arts degree in 2007, and signed with an agency before graduating. An early screen credit came in a 2008 episode of ReGenesis, and stage work followed in Halifax, including Vimy and The Veil; that second production later traveled to a festival in Tehran. He also took small roles on Nikita, Rookie Blue and State of Syn, and appeared in the horror film Monster Brawl (2011). His best known role is Mark and the Castor clones on Orphan Black, which he joined in its second season, and his work there earned him a Canadian Screen Award in 2016.
