Ari Cohen

Ari Cohen is an actor from Winnipeg, Manitoba. He broke into movies with Guy Maddin's Archangel (1990) and has kept working across film, television and theater since. His later films include Ricky Gervais's Special Correspondents (2016) and David Cronenberg's Maps to the Stars. On television he was a regular on Shoot the Messenger and Gangland Undercover, and among more than fifty appearances he had recurring roles on The L Word and Smallville, plus guest spots on Quantico, Heroes Reborn, Shadowhunters, Suits and Girlfriends Guide To Divorce. His stage work includes True West, Speed The Plow and Awake and Sing, and he played Biff Loman in Death of a Salesman with the Soulpepper company, which brought him a Dora nomination. Further nominations came for Sunday Father, which premiered at Canadian Stage Company, for The Rainmaker at a Jessie award and for The Tournament at a Gemini award.
