Ania Marson

Biography

Ania Marson is an Anglo-Polish actress who trained at the Corona Stage Academy and started on television, appearing in Dixon of Dock Green in 1963 and later in series such as The Troubleshooters and Detective. She took the part of Olga Nikolaevna, a Russian grand duchess, in Nicholas and Alexandra (1971), and her other early films included Puppet on a Chain (1970) and Bad Timing (1980), with credits in Emma in 1972, The Abdication in 1974 and Blake's 7 in 1978. In 2011 she played Diana in Home Death at the Finborough Theatre, and in 2015, after a long break from film and television, she returned as Olga Kowalski in Foyle's War. She played the demon Voleth Meir in five episodes of the second season of The Witcher in 2021.
