Biography

Andrew Sensenig is an American actor who came to performing through music and theater before turning to film. Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and raised mostly in Central Illinois, he was introduced to acting and music by public school teachers and mentors, then studied at Circle in the Square Theatre on Broadway and at the North Carolina School of the Arts. He also earned a degree at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois, and worked in computers, consulting and investment banking before reuniting with alumni from the school to compose and co-write The Water Coolers, an Off-Broadway show in 2002 that later toured. He returned to acting full time in 2006, and the part of The Sampler in Upstream Color (2013) brought him wider notice. His films also include We Are Still Here (2015) and Don't Look In The Basement 2 (2015), along with the series Powers (2015).
