Andreas Wisniewski

Andreas Wisniewski, a German actor and former dancer, began in dance before turning to acting. Born in West Berlin, he made his screen debut in Gothic (1986), playing Fletcher. He became known for the assassin Necros in the James Bond film The Living Daylights (1987) and for Tony Vreski, one of Hans Gruber's henchmen, in Die Hard (1988). He also had television roles in Superboy, Mann & Machine and Northern Exposure, and later played Weyland in Death Machine (1994). In Mission: Impossible (1996) he had a non-speaking part as Max's companion, and he later had another non-speaking role in a 2011 Mission: Impossible film, playing the same character. After working in German films, he appeared in the TV series Lock, Stock...The Series and Ultimate Force, and in the thriller Hush (2008). In 2001 he directed the short film Inspiration, and he has also appeared in ITV's The Bill.
