Alastair Duncan
Biography
Alastair Duncan is a Scottish actor with a long career across television, film and voice work. Born in Edinburgh, he first gained attention as Peter Livingstone, the sidekick in the Scottish detective series Taggart, credited then as Neil Duncan, and he left after two series. He went on to appear in a 1988 television version of The Hound of the Baskervilles, with Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes, and made his film debut in the science fiction film Split Second (1992). Guest spots followed on series including Babylon 5, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Charmed and Leverage, and he acted in television films such as Tower of Terror (1997). He has focused on voiceover work since the early 2000s, voicing Alfred Pennyworth for The Batman and Adrian Toomes for Marvel's Spider-Man, and contributing to animated films like Batman Unlimited: Animal Instincts (2015). He also appeared in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Westworld.
