Plot summary
The people around Rocky Marciano tell his story. His brothers and sisters and the friends closest to him share their memories of the champion, and so do a boxing trainer, a Hall of Famer and writers, among them the author of a biography of the fighter. A narrator guides the account. The film was made as a National PBS special, was broadcast on regional sports networks, and this edition adds footage that the television broadcast did not include.
