Plot summary
Jana is seventeen years old. She was born with a congenital heart defect. She seeks out every challenge and throws herself into wild and dangerous adventures. Her parents dislike this and live in constant fear for their daughter. An unruly black stallion comes into her life. Paul Brenner is a racehorse trainer, and he recruits her as his next prospective jockey.
