Plot summary
Years after the Tri-Lambs secured rights for nerds, Adams College has turned into a haven for intellectualism, and the fraternity is now among the campus's most respected. Lewis Skolnick's nephew Harold and his friend Ira Poppus enroll. Orrin Price, a wealthy former Alpha Beta, brings his own son and, disliking what the college has become, persuades its regents to install Stan Gable, another former Alpha Beta and Lewis's old rival, as dean. Lewis, who heads the Computer Science Department, is uneasy about his nerdy past and pushes Harold toward Alpha Beta, while his wife Betty reminds him that she loved him for who he was. Harold and Ira pledge the Tri-Lambs anyway.
