Plot summary
Years after Father Jebedaiah Mayii cast the devil out of a young Nancy Aglet, the prince of darkness comes back for a second round. The grown Nancy, now with a husband and two children, is possessed again while watching The Ernest and Fanny Miracle Hour, the prosperity gospel broadcast of Ernest and Fanny Ray Weller. After a hospital visit, Father Luke Brophy becomes convinced she is possessed, but Mayii refuses to perform the exorcism, saying he is too weak and that he and Nancy barely survived the first one. Ernest argues before the Supreme Council for Exorcism Granting that an exorcism is warranted and wins approval to put it on television, billing it as Ernest and Fanny's Exorcism Tonight. Mayii, thinking he may be needed, works to rebuild his physical strength at a gym.

- Linda Blair agreed to appear only on condition that Leslie Nielsen star opposite her as Father Jebediah Mayii, the priest in the film. She said Bob Logan talked her into doing a spoof of The Exorcist because he knew she wanted to lay that image to rest.
