Plot summary
Katrina is stranded in the desert with her daughter Clara when a rattlesnake bites the girl, and there is no cell service to call for help. A woman in a trailer says she will help, and the bite appears to vanish. At the hospital the doctor suggests it was a hallucination. A man then tells Katrina that payment for Clara's recovery is owed, that her soul was spared and has to be repaid, and that the soul she takes must be human and paid on time, by sunset, or Clara dies.
