Plot summary
Kannan has a job at an IT firm, where he works on a major project, and a family in his village that keeps trying to find him a wife. The matches his relatives arrange for him come to nothing, while the father of a neighboring household holds to his own plan: Kannan should marry his daughters and no one else. Kannan goes back to his office with the matter unresolved. There a friend suggests a different plan: bring a woman from the city home and present her as his girlfriend. The friend persuades Gayatri to agree, and Kannan brings her to his village to meet his family.
