Plot summary
Ángela has become a rising actress in telenovelas, while Javier is still Javier: selfish, irresponsible and too comfortably settled in a household where his wife handles nearly everything. The two of them swore eternal love and now have their first child, but close to a year into the marriage Ángela feels suffocated by an arrangement that keeps her from building the career she wants, and she decides to divorce him. The news lands on Javier like a bucket of cold water. It pulls him out of his inertia, and he sets out to win his family back, though winning her back will not be easy.
