Plot summary
A spacecraft sets down outside Preston in the north of England, and Jiang and Shin arrive with a mission. They are to retrieve the Glorious 100, agents who came to this planet thousands of years earlier to watch and study. Countless lives have passed for those agents with no route home, and some have forgotten why they were posted here, shaped by the world they settled in. Preston sits in Lancashire, where reported UFO sightings are the most frequent in the UK and the Mainland Chinese community is among the fastest growing. As Jiang and Shin gather the agents, they rely on allies they cannot fully trust, and a hooded bike gang pursues them.
