Plot summary
Mrs. Darling glimpses a boy at the nursery window and finds a shadow on the floor, but she and her husband go out to a party anyway, leaving Wendy, John and Michael in the care of the dog Nana. Peter Pan comes back for his shadow with the fairy Tinker Bell and tells Wendy about his home in the woods and the fairies. He teaches the three children to fly and takes them to Never Never Land to join the Lost Boys, who live underground; there Wendy becomes the boys' mother. Peter's friend Tiger Lily leads her band of Indians against the pirates led by Captain Hook, who hates Peter.

- The film was thought lost for decades until film restorer James Card found a well-preserved copy in a vault at the Eastman School of Music in the 1950s, and David Pierce later found another 16mm print at Disney Studios, made when the company acquired the rights in 1938.
