Plot summary
Seth is a man who keeps to himself and works at an animal control center. He spots Holly, a waitress he went to high school with, writing in a journal on the bus, and he becomes fixated on her. The security guard at work, Nate, urges him to be bold and speak to her. Seth studies her online profiles, then asks her out, and she refuses him. A bouquet arrives for Holly at work, and she assumes it came from Eric, her ex-boyfriend, so she goes looking for him at the bar where he works. Seth has been following her and confronts her there, and Eric attacks him. Seth makes off with Holly's journal and reads it over the following days.
