Plot summary
Their target is a German radio-jamming tower housed in an old church. The squad is dropped on the eve of D-Day; the plane is hit and most of the men die, among them Sergeant Rensin. Four men survive: Corporal Ford and Privates Boyce, Tibbet and Chase. In the village, Chloe takes them into her home, where she lives with her little brother Paul and an aunt left disfigured by Nazi experiments. An SS officer named Wafner arrives with a patrol, and Boyce and Ford overpower him.
