Plot summary
C. is a sound designer. At her desk she records and mixes the sounds a film needs, and that studio is also where she keeps away from the relationships that have come apart: an ex, the people she works beside, and her mother. Then her perception changes. Sound starts arriving after the picture that goes with it, so what she sees and what she hears no longer match. She also picks up noises from rooms she was never in, hearing what took place in them before she arrived. The change is recent, and she goes on at her desk while it develops.
