Plot summary
Lucia is four years into a marriage to Adrián, a banker who keeps his distance from her. Her brother Andrés dies in a traffic accident on what was to be his wedding day, and because the siblings were estranged, Lucia is the last in the family to learn of it. While mourning, she visits his apartment and meets Mariana, the fiancée who is grieving there as well. The two women, strangers at first, begin to spend time together and share memories and stories of Andrés. They promise to look after one another and to hold on to their memories of him.

- Writer-director Ana Maria Hermida's film was inspired by her own life, though it is not autobiographical: her younger brother died in a car accident in 2007, and afterwards his girlfriend, already close to Hermida, came to stay with her in New York City for about a month.
- Much of the film was shot in Colombia, the native country of director Ana Maria Hermida, producer Luisa Casas and lead actress Carolina Guerra; Hermida deliberately used Bogotá cityscapes to show Colombia positively and counter negative media portrayals of it.
