Plot summary
Alex McGrath, who directed a New York dance company, has died, and the company is on the brink of collapse. Three dancers he once trained, Travis MacPhearson, Chrissa Lindh and Max Delano, left the dance world years ago after a falling out over a difficult piece he had choreographed for them, one that was never performed. The company brings the three back for a benefit show, where they are to perform that piece as a tribute to McGrath and a bid to keep the company alive. Travis and Chrissa have a daughter, Bree, who wants to follow her mother into dance. The three must work together against time and damaged relationships.
