Plot summary
Bruce goes along with his friend Oswald to the horse races, though he is not eager to be there. A win at the track gives him a taste of success, and the urge to gamble takes hold of him. That night the two sit in on a poker game with a group of shady characters. Oswald loses a hefty bet that he has no way to cover. Oswald's family is taken hostage, and Bruce is left to pay off what remains of the debt. His only route is to rob the payroll office of a casino in Reno.
