Plot summary
The film traces Oasis from the rise that followed Definitely Maybe in 1994 to the backstage fight in Paris in 2009 that ended the band. It then moves into a rehearsal room where the band, back together, spends six weeks preparing in the summer of 2025, Liam pacing and saying he will not smoke or drink through the run. The film stays with the band through the tour and includes the first joint interview Liam and Noel have given in more than fifteen years. Woven through are the stories of fans: a mother from Wales and her nonverbal son, who share the song Talk Tonight; a freediver from Korea for whom the music was a way through depression; and a young woman from England who was at the Manchester Arena bombing.
