Plot summary
Niko, a young reindeer, is a couple of months past his last adventure when Christmas comes around again. At home his mother Oona is getting remarried, and the marriage brings him a stepbrother named Jonni. Niko resents the little reindeer at first, and he is given the job of looking after him. Then the eagles take Jonni, and Niko flies off after him. His friends join the hunt, which has Christmas itself at stake, and an old, nearly blind reindeer named Tobias travels at Niko's side.
