Gerald Tovar, Jr. is a mortician who fears fire. He inherits the mortuary his family kept. The bodies stored there were never cremated, and when toxic medical waste reaches them they reanimate. The story is a prequel to Night of the Living Dead 3D and refers back to the 1968 Night of the Living Dead.
