Plot summary
Three students, Paul, Carl and Allan, sneak into a professor's office to copy answers for a test. Julie Johnson is there finishing work and sees Allan. The three turn on her: Carl pins her while Paul threatens her with a knife and rapes her, then they warn her to keep silent. The next day Julie tells Freda, her closest friend, about the assault the night before, and Freda urges her to report it; Julie refuses. Freda finds a newspaper notice promising revenge, and the two inquire about it and visit a woman who performs a ritual meant to summon a demon.
