Plot summary
In 1957, on the Brooklyn docks, a crate of tuna-fish cans kills the consigliere to the Mafia Don. George Gianfranco, a small-time hood, sees a chance to move up. He and his dim-witted sidekick Dip McKenzie celebrate with some prostitutes, and George is delighted with Glorice Kalsheim, the new girl on the docks. When the pair realize they have forgotten mob boss Joey Aorta's birthday, George suggests the beautiful Glorice as a date for the boss. The evening goes badly, and a plate of spaghetti lands on Aorta, but he likes Glorice's tough style, so George and Dip celebrate.
