Plot summary
In Quebec City in 1956, Nelly Maloye works as a novice private detective, and Simon Picard assists an anthropology researcher at the local university. A chance meeting reveals that the two of them share a belief: the yeti is a real creature. A glory-seeking philanthropist pays for an expedition. Simon brings the coded diary of an explorer who vanished, expecting it to lead the way to the creature's lair. Tenzig Gombu, a young Sherpa, signs on as their guide, and Jazzmin, a talking myna bird, comes along. In Nepal, the trek into the mountains brings them one danger after another.
