Midnight Mass (2003) on Netflix

Plot summary

Before anyone understood it, the outbreak that traveled from Saudi Arabia through India, Egypt, Africa and Europe reached the shores of the United States, and Americans learned it was not a virus at all but vampires, who had united and taken the planet under a government coverup. In a small town on the New Jersey shoreline, Gwen Waters, a confirmed atheist, has stayed alive by learning the old legends and has found that a cross works against a vampire. She trails four Vichys to St. Anthony's Church and watches through a window as Father Alberto Palmeri, once senior priest there, kills a captive for the gathered vampires. Gwen wants her uncle, the priest Joe Cahill, to bring hope to the town's remaining humans, and she finds him drinking in the basement of Morton's Liquors.
