Plot summary
Poong-cheon, Seol-rang and Deok-gi are three Goryeo-era swordsmen who lead an uprising against the king and his allies from Kitan. When Deok-gi turns on his companions, Poong-cheon dies, and Seol-rang escapes with Poong-cheon's infant daughter and a sword. Eighteen years on, Seol-rang keeps a tea house at Byukran port under the name Wallso, blind and raising two children. The girl, now called Seol-hee, has learned the sword, though she cares more about daily affairs than her father's past. A match staged in the market by Deok-gi, who now rules as the military power Yoo-baek, draws Seol-hee in despite Wallso's objections.
