Plot summary
Cameras follow Radiohead through the promotion and tour for OK Computer, the band's third album, from the opening date on 22 May 1997 in Barcelona, Spain. The footage covers work on music, music video shoots, promotional filming, interviews and performances, among them a Karma Police appearance on David Letterman's Late Show and a studio session for Man of War that fails. The bassist called the period the lowest point of the band's career, and the singer set out to counter the idea that life in a rock band is glamorous.

- To record interviews, the director Grant Gee ran between rooms leaving microphones behind, and he placed surveillance cameras in Radiohead's dressing room, which he said foreshadowed reality television such as Big Brother.
- Radiohead's singer Thom Yorke said the director Grant Gee refused the band's requests to include moments of positivity, while drummer Philip Selway said other times on the tour were much lighter.
- Meeting People Is Easy became the first DVD released by Radiohead's record label, EMI, which had put the film out on VHS in the UK on 30 November 1998.
