Plot summary
Micah and Jo are two black twenty-somethings in San Francisco. After a party they have a one-night stand, and they wake in a bed that belongs to neither of them. Jo leaves her wallet in the taxi they share, and Micah returns it to her apartment. Jo is involved with a wealthy white gallery owner, and the two live apart. Over the day that follows, the pair visit the Museum of the African Diaspora, come across a meeting of an affordable housing coalition and take in a concert, and their talk turns to race and gentrification.
