Plot summary
Krish, who has no job, shares a home with his brother and sister-in-law. Eager to marry into money, he courts Manju, the daughter of the MLA Simhachalam, though he has no feelings for her. To win her sympathy he makes up a tale of a woman named Meenakshi who jilted him, and Manju falls in love with him. Then a real Meenakshi, called Meenu, enters his life, and Krish begins to care for her sincerely. Meanwhile, Simhachalam and Shinde are rivals in a party presidential election in Delhi, and Shinde digs into Simhachalam's personal life for anything he could use against him in front of the party high command.
