Plot summary
Danny Shekar, an ex-havildar, is traveling with his driver from Telangana into Andhra Pradesh at night when police stop them at the border over liquor carried past the permitted quota. Danny, drunk and angry at the disturbance, beats the officers. SI Bheemla Nayak arrives, strikes him and lays out the offense; Danny insists his destination was in Telangana, but Nayak holds that he had already crossed into Andhra and arrests him. A constable removes his pancha, which feeds his anger further. A case is filed, and the police find from his phone that his father is an influential politician. CI Kodanda Ram asks Nayak to treat Danny with respect, so Nayak tries to make peace, but Danny refuses to give ground.

- Bheemla Nayak did almost no on-ground marketing beyond its pre-release event, and the approach became a trend: Pawan Kalyan's next film Bro and the Prabhas-starrer Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire used the same strategy.
- Sai Pallavi was approached to play Suguna opposite Pawan Kalyan, and director Saagar K Chandra insisted she would join the production in April 2021, but she opted out over scheduling conflicts; Nithya Menen replaced her.
- Ravi Teja, Nandamuri Balakrishna and Rana Daggubati were among the actors approached for the lead before Pawan Kalyan was announced in October 2020 to play the police officer Biju Menon had played in the original.
