Plot summary
Valmiki and Ramachandra start out as clerks in the same company, but Ramachandra marries the owner's daughter Yasoda and grows rich while Valmiki stays middle class. On the day both their sons are born, Ramachandra's baby appears lifeless, and Valmiki swaps the infants, letting his own boy be raised as Raj in the wealthy household while Ramachandra's son grows up as Bantu, criticized and treated roughly at home. Years later Valmiki refuses to pay for Bantu's MBA, so Bantu interviews at a travel company run by Amulya, a self-made businesswoman, and gets the job. Raj returns from abroad without finishing his degree, and Ramachandra sends him to turn down a share offer from Paidithalli, son of the powerful Appala Naidu.
