Plot summary
Marie Palesi plays Mary Magdalene in This Is My Blood, a film about the life of Jesus that has just finished shooting. She stays in Jerusalem, looking for what the story holds. The director, who plays Jesus himself, flies to New York to promote the film hard. The film is drawing public controversy: some of its scenes take material from the non-canonical Gnostic Gospels, and there are claims that it is anti-Semitic, though no reasons are given. In New York, Ted Younger, a television journalist, is putting together a series of programs on the life of Jesus and picks the director for an interview. In private, he is struggling with his faith.
