Plot summary
Two sisters, Alice and Sandrine, have had no word from their mother in twenty years. One is married to Serge, a realtor, and gives piano lessons to occupy her time. The other works in an advertising agency, has two sons, Thomas and Nicolas, and sometimes sleeps with the director there, Erwan. Their routines are interrupted when Paulette arrives from Lyon, where a stormy divorce has left her planning to move to Paris. She left her daughters twenty years before and never tried to contact them. The reunion proves tumultuous, and the two women mean to settle accounts with the mother who abandoned them.
