Plot summary
Alicia's first trip out of the country brings her to Chile, where her cousin Sara is studying. Sara and her boyfriend Agustín plan a road trip with Agustín's sister Bárbara and their friend Brink, and Alicia joins them. An urgent call about an exam pulls Sara back to the city, and she promises to return the next day, so Alicia continues to the island with the rest of the group. There is no phone signal, and Brink's teasing leaves her feeling like an outsider. Out on a walk with Agustín, she watches Brink shoot a macaw with an air rifle and runs off, upset.
