Plot summary
The town treasures an Oak tree that is scheduled to come down. The Mayor, Tom Parker, hires Kyle Sorenson, a landscaper, to cut it. Aimie Roarke, who can be counted on to take up a cause, chains herself to the trunk to keep it standing. Kyle chooses to wait rather than force the issue, and as he holds out, the two of them spend more time together.
