Plot summary
Home movies filmed between 1970 and 1980, more than 2,000 feet of Super 8 in all, turn up at a Mexican flea market, and a filmmaker buys them thirty years on. Screening the reels, he finds episodes from the childhood of Larisa, a blond and expressive girl, filmed by her father. The reels also tell the story of a family that has become disconnected from its own memories. He teams up with a photographer, and the two of them build a documentary out of the found footage. Searching for answers, the filmmaker decides to track Larisa down.
