Plot summary
In August 1912, the Tyrone family is at a quiet vacation home in Connecticut on a foggy day. One member of the household is an Irish miser. His wife is addicted to morphine. They have two sons, one debauched and one gravely ill. The family members are James Tyrone, Mary Tyrone, Jamie Tyrone and Edmund Tyrone. The day at the house becomes the backdrop for the family's decline.
